Jesus

Who is Jesus?

Jesus is God in the flesh, He’s our Saviour, the Light of the world, Messiah. He loves you so much that He lived, died and rose again to set you free and give you a new beginning, to give you hope.

This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
2 Corinthians 5:17

Your Relationship With Jesus

It doesn’t matter what you’ve done or where you’re at, Jesus wants a personal relationship with you! You don’t have to clean yourself up, pull up your bootstraps or any other euphemism that amounts to you doing all the work. You just need to bend your will to Jesus and let Him be the boss of your life.

And now it’s time to repent and turn back to God so that your sins will be removed, and so that times of refreshing will stream from the Lord’s presence.
Acts 3:19

The Bible is God’s account of His actions in the world, and his purpose for all creation. The writing of the Bible took place over sixteen centuries and is the work of over forty human authors. It is an incredible collection of 66 books with very different styles, all containing the message God desired us to have.

We get it, it’s a big book and cracking the Bible open at first can seem a little daunting. Do I have to start at the beginning? What if I don’t understand? What translation should I be reading? First of all there’s no wrong way to start. Secondly, we’ve compiled some resources to help you in your journey.

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 17 God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
2 Tim 3:16-17
